Overview
Drink Perfect is a mobile app that connects business owners with new customers and provides customers with discounts on new experiences. While I was a UX Designer at Drink Perfect, some of my responsibilities included conducting usability testing, discuss design strategy with the founder in a weekly basis, redesign the new look and feel of the mobile app and redesign the current website.
The Problem
Major cities in California are famous for its restaurants and food trends. Even with such a big amount of different places, it gets challenging to find the one which can meet all the needs such as cuisine preference, location and budget. How might we help locals and visitors to discover city hotspots in order to have a great time with their friends or loved ones and not spending a fortune?
User Personas
Goal
Our goal is to help our users find local establishment with daily redeemable discounts on food and drinks so they can save money every day. Redeeming daily discounts using Drink Perfect app is easy.
Usability Test
Usability testing helped us identify some user pain points when searching for venue locations right on the venue screen. More than 70% of our users were not able to find the map right away in our first design. We decided to move it right under the venue’s name making it visible without having to scroll all the way down.

Drink Pass Redesign
We changed the Send Drink Pass screen as we also included the option to refer a friend to get one free month. In these new screens we included our new CTA buttons with white font instead on black like they used to be in the old app version. These buttons are also bigger, easier for users to interact with.

Collaborating with CEO, I revamped the company's official website. Here is a comparison of the before (top) & after (bottom):
